Dear Congregants,

With the recent announcement of the departure of Rabbi Matthew Leibl, we wanted to bring the Congregation Shaarey Zedek up to date on the synagogue’s plans moving forward. We will miss Rabbi Leibl’s youthful energy, approachability and enthusiasm, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Dear Friends,

I would like to bring you up to date on current events specifically regarding the ritual department at the synagogue.

Rabbi Matthew Leibl has decided not to renew his contract with the synagogue and will be leaving at the end of June. He advised that he has decided to move on and focus on his family and mostly being a Dad. We are very sorry to see him go and wish him and his family well.

With mixed emotions, I write to let the congregation know that Ian Staniloff will be leaving his position as Executive Director, when his current contract expires at the end of June.
