Golem Girl: A Memoir by Riva Lehrer (2020)
A wonderful memoir about a Jewish woman born with spina bifida who was basically told there would be no hope for her chronic disease, as she was broken and unfixable. Riva Lehrer sets out to prove both her family and the world wrong. This autobiography is told with honesty, humour, tenacity, creativity, determination and most of all, the will to survive and never give up!!  A must read!
