About this Series

Join Shai Yosipov in a thought-provoking two-session online course that delves into the complexities of the historical times we live in, which erupted on October 7th, 2023. This course, which looks at the current war and conflict through the lens of the discipline of Conflict Management and Resolution, will help provide us with a comprehensive understanding of the ongoing conflict and its geopolitical history.

In our first session, we will embark on a journey through the roots and historical context of this long-standing conflict. We'll explore the key events and power dynamics that have shaped the region, enabling you to grasp the geopolitical complexities that continue to drive the discord.

Moving forward, our second session will delve into the narratives and interests that underlie this conflict. We'll analyze the contrasting perspectives of the parties involved, offering you a deeper insight into their motivations and goals.

But this course is more than a historical overview; it's an opportunity to apply principles of Conflict Resolution to a real-world situation. We will examine how this discipline can be harnessed to understand, manage, and potentially resolve this deeply-rooted conflict. By the end of our sessions, you'll gain a valuable toolkit for approaching conflicts with a new lens of understanding and problem-solving.

Don't miss this chance to explore a complex geopolitical issue through the lens of conflict management and resolution. Register now and join me in unraveling the Israel-Hamas conflict.
