We Will Dance Again: Recapturing the Joy of Simchat Torah

6:00 PM - 9:00 PMShaarey Zedek SynagogueCelebrate Simchat Torah with Congregation Shaarey Zedek! This family friendly event will feature singing, dancing with the Torah Scrolls (Hakafot), and the reading of the end and beginning of the Torah as part of the Torah Tour. Each Hakafah will be dedicated to a specific theme honouring Jewish values and remembering lives lost on and since October 7th, as we reflect on the joys and sorrows of the last year. The evening concludes with dessert. Participants: Rabbi Aníbal Mass, Spiritual Leader; Cantor Leslie Emery; and Tali Millo, Program Director and Lay Clergy.

Minyan will be streamed beginning at 6:00 PM CT, however, the Hakafot and Torah Tour will only be available in-person.
