Congregation Shaarey Zedek stands in sorrow with the First Nation’s community in mourning the 215 Indigenous children discovered in a mass grave in the former Kamloops Indian Residential School site. This is another cruel reminder of the horrific era of Residential Schooling that ripped away Indigenous children from their parents, many to never be seen again, and scarring thousands of lives with lifelong and generational trauma. Blessed be the memory of these 215 children and others lost – never to be forgotten -- Every Child Matters. #215children #everychildmatters
