Dear Congregation,

The Shaarey Zedek Rabbinic Search Committee is pleased to invite our community to meet Rabbi Carnie Rose, our first candidate for the rabbinic position. Rabbi Rose will join us on the weekend of March 7 to 9, 2025 to lead services, teach, get to know our community, and meet with Rabbinic Search Committee members.

We invite you to take this opportunity to welcome Rabbi Rose at the following events:

• Friday March 7 at 5:00 PM — Kabbalat Shabbat – open to all. 
• Saturday, March 8 at 10:00 AM — Shabbat Morning Service – Open to all: Rabbi Rose will provide meaning around the prayer ritual, deliver a sermon, lead select prayers, read from the Torah and provide commentary. 
• Saturday March 8 after Kiddush — Presentation & Conversation – “Traversing the Narrow Bridge Called Life”: Rabbi Rose will lead a teaching session and casual conversation with Q&A. This will not be live streamed.
• Sunday, March 9 at 10:00 AM — Minyan, Bagels and Community Q&A

RSVPs are not required but will help us plan; please fill out our registration form by clicking here if you would like to join us at one or more of the events. The Shabbat services will be livestreamed on YouTube, Facebook, and our Website.

The Search Committee will release a survey after Rabbi Rose’s visit to gather your thoughts about his interactions with our community. Please call the office at 204-452-3711 to request a printed copy if you do not have computer access.
